Furniture Re-use and Resale
We want to divert as much used furniture as possible from landfill and put it back on the market.
We do this by either re-selling the furniture, donating it to charities or working with other re-sale partners to find it a new home.
We are fully aware of market trends and conditions, which means we can tell at a glance how much time and work it will take to re-use or recycle your old furniture.
Furniture Recycling
If your furniture can't be re-used or re-sold as it is, we still won't let it go to landfill. Every part of your old desks, chairs, filing cabinets and cupboards can be transformed into something useful.
Re:Work will break it down to be used for specialist recycling:
- Metals will be used as a raw material for new products
- Plastic will be sent for chipping and re-used
- Chipboard and melamine are shredded and re-used
- Fibre is sent for shoddy (shredded, recycled and re-spun)
